(2 votes)A Canadian-based company which claims to use environmentally-friendly manufacturing processes and enables customization of jeans for men and women. No pictorial design interface,so there is no way to see a virtual recreation of the finished product. Therefore, the site recommends that the potential customer take a look at their "stylebook" of pictures of various custom jean configurations previously ordered. To order: submit measurements and specifications (several varieties of pockets or not having pockets to choose from, choose from fabric swatches, and order online.

Levi's
(0 votes)Levi's allowed you to customize the cut, the color and the fly on made-to-order jeans with their (temporarily discontinued) Original Spin program in which you visited a Levi's store for a custom fitting. They will be doing something along those lines again soon. To quote one of the press releases from their USA site,
<br>"The Levi�s� brand is testing the award-winning Intellifit System� electronic body scanner in five of its stores this spring. When a fully-clothed person steps into the cylindrical glass booth, the Intellifit� System will scan the person in approximately 10 seconds and print out recommended sizes and styles of Levi's� jeans cross referenced with his or her measurements. In keeping with its leadership position, Levi's� is the first denim brand to test the new scanner."

Me Jeans
(0 votes)A user-friendly, graphic-heavy interface allows the end user to customize several aspects of jeans for men and women. Unique options available on Me Jeans not seen on some other jean customization sites include a fly fastened with Velcro or tied with a leather lace, being able to choose from a limited selection of metal trims and several stitch colors, as well as some color tints for the denim. The pages that allow you to enter your measurements have still pictures of a model being measured with tailor's tape as well as helpful video clips for those unfamiliar with the process of taking measurements. However, the order/design building process is such that you still don't get to see the end result in the form of a virtual image of the custom jeans you have created.
