Make Your Own Cookie Cutters

If you’re like me, there have been occasions when I wanted to make special, unique cookie shapes that I could then decorate.

Ever try to find a cutter in the shape of a boy kicking a soccer ball into the net? Or a dancing ballerina? A man, in a boat, catching a huge fish? How about a large cutter in the shape of your brother’s new house?

I gave the problem a lot of thought. How could I put something together that would cut cookie dough, in whatever shape I could dream up, that was easy to make, as well as inexpensive? I experimented quite a bit with different materials and methods, and finally perfected a very simple, easy, homemade cookie cutter!

You won’t need any fancy tools, or epoxy glues, or welding equipment! If you can trace a shape and read a tape measure, you’re in business!

Halflife 2: Cookie edition

Yesterday I recieved my Collector's Edition box of Halflife 2. I had expected something smaller and definitely better designed rather then just a tin-box with a dvd, t-shirt and a small book tossed in there. Anyhow, the first thing that came to mind was the fact that they had sent me a cookie-box and after getting such a strong feeling I simply couldn't just let it go, something had to be done =)

So I took the first train out of town to meet my brother who has most tools I'd need and went to work with a friend, this was what I needed:

One sheet of metal (to make the form out of)
One cutting-tool
One welding unit (and a brother that knows how to use it =)
